Matapiojo Lodge "Feel one with Nature" it's located on the banks of the Rio Futaleufú in beautiful and unspoiled Patagonia. Palena Province has the greatest diversity of fishing in the area. We fish large and small rivers, vast, 2,000 foot deep lakes and countless, reed-lined lagoons (many of them still unnamed). The closeness between the high Andes and the Pacific Ocean gives us everything from sea-run salmon to high-mountain brown trout. 

 

The lodge was built at the base of a sheer rock facing along the Futaleufu River, a place where condors fly by day and pumas cry by night. Matapiojo Lodge is strategically located for your convenience and for easy access to a wide diversity of Chile’s best Dry Fly fishing lakes and rivers, with that said it provides some of the most diverse fishing situations with some of the best Dry Fly Fishing in the World. The Matapiojo Lodge presents to you the highest possibilities of catching and achieving a "Trout Grand Slam". 

 

Matapiojo Lodge embraces the concept of “Luxury Glamping,” in wall safari stile tents, but don't be full by the term. Matapiojo Lodge offers outstanding value and enhance your contact with nature. Just steps from our luxury wall tents with private bathrooms, you will find the wine barrels hot tub, the common area with a large living room, kitchen, bathrooms and simple, elegant amenities to make your stay in Patagonia comfortable.
