In Patagonia, Chile the Rio Puelo and its tributary rivers provide habitat to a large population of brown and rainbow trout with indescribable colors and great fighting spirit. 

​

The Rio Puelo has produced Chinook Salmon with record fish over 30 kg. The verage size of the Rio Puelo's Chinook is 8-20 kg. It's peak fishing season is September to May for trout and late January to April for Salmon.

​

From the lodge, and within less than 15 - 30 minute boat desplacements we can access numerous rivers and lagoons including the Victoria Lagoon and the Tagua Tagua Lagoon. This last with it's breathtaking landscapes and excellent fishing opportunities for rainbow and brown trout.

Fly fishing or spin fishing with lures is also allowed.

The Lodge has capacity for 8 anglers in double occupancy cozy rooms, every room has it's private bathroom.

Refugio Esperanza Lodge also has an antique wood barrel Hot-tub stove from a local winery that overlooks an amazing view of Rio Puelo.

All melas, wine and open bar are incluided.
